Welcome to Yokohama for 2026

It’s been over 10 years since our time trial series began. Along the way, it gained a new name and a new website, car classes and rules were reshaped, participants came and went, and even the cars we drive are no longer quite the same.

But one thing remained unchanged… until now.

Starting in the 2026 season, we welcome Yokohama as our official tire partner! We are excited to continue our long-running sponsorship programs, now with new names: Yokohama Tire Contingency and RaceTreads.com Championship Cash Prize. Some tweaks to these programs are designed to encourage increased participation in all classes.

In Stock Class and Street Class, we will continue the spec tire format, but with a new official tire: Yokohama ADVAN Apex V601, in 225/45R17 and 245/40R17. There will be a grace period to allow competitors to adopt this new tire and still earn Championship Points while running SX2s.

In Touring Class and Unlimited Class, competitors will continue to enjoy more choice in tires, but competing on our sponsor’s tires is more enticing than ever before. In order to qualify for the RaceTreads.com Championship Cash Prize, competitors must run Yokohama tires purchased or redeemed from RaceTreads.com for a minimum of 5 events. Expect to see many more Yokohama ADVAN Neova AD09 and Yokohama ADVAN A052 in the top finishing positions for 2026. Competitors can now use other tires in addition to the official tires and still qualify for the RaceTreads.com Championship Cash Prize.

Competitors participating in the Yokohama Tire Contingency will earn tires at the same rate of 1 tire for each 10 Tire Points. To earn Tire Points, competitors must purchase or redeem their Yokohama tires from RaceTreads.com to be eligible.
