What's 86 Challenge?

86 Challenge is the premier, independently-organized 86/BRZ Time Trial series in Northern California. Utilizing an easy-to-understand ruleset specific to the platform, the 86 Challenge aims to provide a friendly, safe environment in which 86 enthusiasts can hone their driving skills. Come join us at our events to compete, get a ride, or spectate to experience the true capabilities of the platform in its natural environment!

How do I participate?

Register for a track day from our Schedule (follow the registration link), review our rules in Documents to determine which class to compete in, and complete the 86 Challenge sign up form before each track day on this website. That’s it.

There is no cost to participate, outside of signing up for the HDPE/track day and an optional (but encouraged) timing transponder rental (availalbe at a discounted rate to participants).

We also recommend joining our Discord server and introducing yourself before you come out to an event. We are happy to answer any additional questions you have there.

You may also sign up for the Yokohama Tire Contingency and RaceTreads.com Championship Cash Prize programs in the beginning of the year to earn free tires and have a chance to win cash prizes.
